Staff Biographies

Doctors
Dr Lawrence Maule
Dr Lawrence Maule trained at Guy’s Hospital in London, and he qualified in 1983. He worked in Poole, where he completed his GP training, and he started working at Webb-Peploe surgery in 1988. He has a particular interest in gastroenterology, and does one session a week at the Lymington New Forest Hospital as an Endoscopist. Dr Maule is the Information Governance lead in the partnership, which means that he has responsibility for the way in which medical records are kept and how patient information is handled both inside and outside practice. He recently became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners following a rigorous assessment of his practice. Dr Maule does a little running and cycling, and he enjoys films and books. He is a member of Lymington Baptist Church.

 

Dr Jacqui Davies
Dr Jacqui Davies trained at the University of Wales in Cardiff and qualified in 1986. After completing her hospital experience in Cardiff, she had appointments as a community paediatrician in Southampton and as a GP Registrar in Southbourne and at Milford on Sea before joining the Webb-Peploe practice in 1992. Dr Davies has a keen interest in women's health and contraception, and she recently became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners following a rigorous assessment of her practice. She also has an interest in palliative medicine having worked at the Oakhaven Hospice for a number of years. Dr Davies has run the London Marathon, and she continues to do some running. She is a member of Lymington Baptist Church.

 

Nurses
Joe Wilde has a particular interest in children, and she is responsible for a number of aspects of care including vaccinations and immunisations and asthma.

Sarah Bywater takes the lead in looking after diabetic patients as well as dealing with all general nursing issues.

Sarah Clarke takes the lead in women's health and contraception.

Chris Belbin is a Healthcare Assistant, who occasionally comes to the surgery. She is involved in a number of nursing procedures and also gathers clinical information from patients such as blood pressure, etc. She also offers a service for those who wish to lose weight.
